Students will examine calendula, explore oil infusion, strain and measure their herbal oil, make a balm with adult support, and document what they learned.
- Four live Zoom classes taught by Brenda Deming, Master Herbalist.
- A scheduled break between the first two classes for infusion and observation.
- The 107-page Herbal Explorer Field Journal, featuring 77 entries, included with paid enrollment.
- No previous herbal experience required.
Supplies are purchased separately. No kit is included. Supply details will be provided before enrollment so families can plan.

Before enrollment opens
Is this a live or self-paced course?
The founding course will be taught live across four Zoom classes. The first enrollment opportunity will be for that live founding experience. Dates and times will be confirmed before enrollment opens.
Does joining reserve a paid place?
Joining the waitlist does not take payment, guarantee a place, or commit your family to purchase.
When do we receive the field journal?
The printable journal is included with paid course enrollment. It will not be provided before enrollment.
Will an adult need to help?
Yes. A parent or guardian will need to support the hands-on activities and handle or closely supervise preparation and heated steps. Participation details will be provided before enrollment.
Will there be recordings?
Under the current policy, class recordings are shared with families enrolled in the same class for a limited period ending 14 days after the final session. See the Children’s Privacy Notice for details.
